Thank you for taking the time to read this file before running our demo. This
demo has been taken from actual scenes in the game, so it should give you a
good idea about what the actual game will "feel" like.

freely in its original form.

In this, our first Junior Adventure demo, you play the role of a young
purple car named Putt-Putt. Putt-Putt has woken up and decides to head
into town after hearing about the annual Car Town Pet Parade. There are
several screens to explore and an adult-stumping puzzle along the way!

 As with all Junior Adventures, this demo features colorful 256 color
graphics, digitized dialog and a _lot_ of sound effects, plenty of
animation, a fully mobile main character. Junior Adventures are the only
adventure games designed for kids 3-8 years.

This demo runs on Performa, Centris, or Quadras (or equivelant) with 2MB
free RAM and 256 color video systems. A hard drive is needed for both the
game and the demo, since the demo takes up almost 2 megabytes.

The demo comes as a self-extracting archive (SEA) file - double-clicking on
it will start the installation. To play the demo after the installation, go
double-click on any of the Putt-Putt icons.

Note: The 'splat' key is the cloverleaf key usually found on the lower
      left side of the keyboard. There is a menu that will show up if
      you press the Splat key or go up to the upper left and click.

     Spacebar or splat-P        Pause/unpause the demo
     Splat-Q                                    Quit the demo
     Splat-R               Restart the demo
     Splat-M               Turn on/off music
     Splat-D               Turn on/off voices


To play, click where you want Putt-Putt to go, or click on an object to see
if it does anything.  If the cursor turns into a fat arrow, clicking here
will make Putt-Putt move into the indicated exit. Be sure to click on
click-points (animations throughout the demo) more than once - many have
multiple animations that randomly are displayed.


The "Putt-Putt Joins the Parade" game is available for PC-compatibles and
Macintosh, in either CDROM or floppy format (both have full digitized
speech and sound effects) and is also available in 3DO format.
