SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Macintosh¨ System Requirements: ¥ Macintosh 040 or better ¥ System 7.0 or higher ¥ 8 MB of RAM ¥ 13" monitor with 256 colors ¥ Double-speed CD-ROM drive ¥ QuickTimeª 2.0 or higher (QuickTime 2.5 included) Installation Instructions: ¥ Double-click on the Stay Tooned Demo icon. System Extensions: The Stay Tooned Demo requires QuickTimeª for Macintosh¨ to be installed on your system. QuickTimeª v2.5 is provided on the CD-ROM. To install QuickTimeª: ¥ Double-click on the Stay Tooned Demo. ¥ Open the QuickTime 2.5 Installer folder on the CD-ROM drive, and double-click the Install QuickTime icon. -NOTE: You may want to read the QuickTime ReadMe before installing QuickTime 2.5 on your machine. ¥ Your Macintosh¨ will automatically install QuickTime 2.5, and place the files in the necessary folders in your Sytem folder. ¥ Once you have installed QuickTimeª, you will need to restart your Macintosh¨ for QuickTimeª to take effect. , 040 Troubleshooting Issues Performance Problems: If you are experiencing performace problems or your machine is locking up after launching the Stay Tooned demo try the following: ¥Copy the Stay Tooned Demo contents from the CD-ROM to your hard drive -you will need approximately 55 MB free disk space ¥Go to "Get Info". To get info: -select the Preview icon -select "Get Info" from the File Menu or select "+I" (Apple and "I") -if the box labeled "Locked" is checked, click to remove the "X" -change the minium memory requirement to 4096K -close the "Get Info" box -launch the application ¥NOTE: Once you launch the application and it runs, you can delete it from your hard drive. You should not have problems running the Stay Tooned demo even after rebooting. About Virtual Memory: We have generally found that performance degrades when Virtual Memory is on. If you have more than 8Mb of RAM we recommend turning Virtual Memory off. To turn Virtual Memory off: ¥ Select Control Panels under the Apple menu. ¥ Double-click on the Memory icon. ¥ Within the Virtual Memory section, turn Virtual Memory OFF. ¥ Restart the computer for the settings to take effect.
