BURIED IN TIME DEMO
																				MACINTOSH INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

Welcome to the interactive preview for Buried in Timeª, An Epic Time Travel Adventure. We'd like your experience with this disc to be a smooth one, so we've enclosed installation instructions below to help you get the demo up and running easily. Please take a moment to review these instructions and make sure you're comfortable with the installation before proceeding.

Step 1:

Make sure that you are running the appropriate versions of QuickTimeª (version 2.0) and Sound Managerª (version 3.0).

If you are unsure, move your current versions of QuickTimeª and Sound Managerª to the ÒExtensions (disabled)Ó folder. Then drag QuickTimeª 2.0 and Sound Managerª 3.0 from the ÒFiles for System FolderÓ folder on the CD-ROM on to your start up hard disk drive System Folder and restart your Mac.  If you notice severe performance problems when movies are playing, please also install the ÒMultimedia TunerÓ extension (same process as above), in addition to QuickTime and Sound Manager.

Step 2:

Open the folder named "Copy Contents To Hard Drive." Copy the contents of this folder to your startup disk (the hard drive which has your ÒSystem FolderÓ on it.) 


Step 3:

Double-click the "BIT Demo - Thousands of Colors" icon if your computer supports thousands of colors or more, or double-click the "BIT Demo - 256 Colors" icon if your computer supports only 256 colors.

If you are unsure about how many colors your Mac supports, open the "Monitors" control panel and check to see which color options are supported on your system. If you have "thousands" as an option, we recommend setting your monitor to this setting for the highest quality viewing experience.
