System Requirements for the Demo Version:

Windows(R) 95*
Pentium 90MHz or faster
16MB RAM
8MB of hard disk space
640x480 in Thousands of colors mode 
Sound Blaster 16 or 100% Sound Blaster 16 bit compatible sound card
Video and Sound cards compatible with DirectX**

Macintosh 
Macintosh Power PC required
16MB of RAM
640x480 in Thousands of colors mode
System 7.1 or higher

If you experience problems with your video or sound card, please insure that the newest available drivers for those devices are installed properly on your machine.

*System Configuration:  May require minor adjustments to the configuration of your operating system and/or updates to the hardware component drivers.

**If you experience problems with the installation or compatibility of DirectX on your machine, please consult the hardware manufacturers of your video or sound card.  You may also want to check Microsoft's Web page www.microsoft.com for more information.

Installation:

Windows(R) 95
Insert the Riven1 CD into your CD-ROM drive, cancel the AutoRun installer for Riven the Sequel to Myst. Right click on the Riven1 CD to explore its contents. Open the folder J3 Demo, double-click on LOT Demo Installer.

To Uninstall
If you need to uninstall The Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time Demo, click Start on the task bar and move the cursor to Settings, then to Control Panel. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs from the list of programs. Click the Add/Remove… button and then click OK to uninstall the program.

Macintosh PPC
Insert the Riven1 CD into your CD-ROM drive, double-click on the folder J3 Demo, copy the folder Copy to Mac onto your hard drive. Open the folder Copy to Mac and double-click on Legacy of Time Demo.

About The Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time Demo:
Go back in time to the legendary and beautiful world of Atlantis. Using new 3-D Scrolling technology, you are Gage Blackwood, Agent 5 of the Temporal Security Agency. Your mission is to make a gold medallion that may save the enitre universe from distruction. Yada yada yada.

Information for running Journeyman 3: Legacy of Time Demo

QuickTime is required to run the movies on the Macintosh version of this demo. QuickTime X.X is required to run the movies on the PC.

Microsoft’s DirectX version 5.0 is required for the PC.

If you have installed the required versions of QuickTime and DirectX, and still have problems running the demo, make sure that the most current audio and video drivers available for your hardware are installed on your system.

Your monitor must support 640x480 screen resolution.

It will be very helpful if you can tell us your computer make and model, and the brand names of both the video card and sound card you are using.  If possible, have the computer both positioned near your phone and turned on.  Please also be prepared to give us a  detailed description of what happens when you try to run the program.
